1. Too Faced Primed and Poreless Pressed Powder – I recently received this as a gift from my sister’s lovely friend! I was a little doubtful about its ability to really do its job. Not because of the brand, but because of the fact that I have tried several finishing powders, but were not very effective for me. I didn’t really see a difference in my makeup most of the time, so I just figured finishing powders were just not meant for me! So, when this little pretty makeup case showed up, I used it without much expectation, but fell in love with it! This powder can be used before or after applying makeup, but I have only used it after applying my foundation. I always apply it on the oily zones of my face, like the T-zone and around my nose and mouth. Those are the areas where I usually get the most oily, therefore I do not apply it anywhere else on my face. By the end of the day, my makeup does not crease as much, and sometimes I don’t see any greasy creasing at all! It is safe for acne-prone skin, which is a plus!

2. Sephora Collection PRO Press Full Coverage Complexion Brush (#66) – I got this brush as a gift as well, and was very excited to try it out! When I get brushes as gifts, I often do not really know how to use it, so I have to do a bit of research and watch videos on Sephora’s site to make sure I am using the brush correctly. There are hundreds of different kinds of brushes out there, and having a lot of brushes does not necessarily mean your make up will have a higher chance of looking better. The important part is learning how to use the brush correctly so that the brush is being used to its full capacity. When using any brush properly, the results will be amazing most of the time! Now, why do I love this particular Sephora Collection PRO Press Full Coverage Complexion Brush so much? First of all, the coverage is amazing without having to overuse a product. It is like the beauty blender, except with better coverage, personally for me. I still have some acne scars, which are still healing, and with this brush I get great coverage! All you need to do with this brush is tap, tap, tap, into your foundation, then dab, dab, dab, without any swirling or buffing and poof, you are done! It is really easy to use, but just make sure to clean the brush thoroughly! Try not to wait to wash it, or it will be harder to wash off the foundation in the inner bristles! Last, an extra plus to this brush, I always receive a lot of compliments on my skin when I apply my foundation with this brush! My peers tell me my skin looks flawless and smooth! 😉 beauty, beauty blogger, fashion, anthropologie, home goods, home goodies, candles, cane + austin, glycolic acid, acne-free, ten tips for acne free skin, ten tips to clear acne, get rid of acne, cosrx, exfoliating, mandelic acid, aha, bha, ceramide cream, moisturizers, tips for skin, benefit cosmetics, sephora brush #66, tinted lash primer, too faced, primer, makeup, too faced primed and poreless

3. Benefit Cosmetics – They’re Real! Tinted Lash Primer – This pretty light brown lash primer is very natural, giving your lashes a subtle glow. I use this primer on my bottom lashes, which give them a noticeable, but not too dramatic look. Whenever I use mascara or eyeliner, no matter how waterproof it is, it usually smudges. Of course there are products that smudge less, but I have not had any product yet that has not smudged at all. I get oily around my eyelids which is the culprit for the smudging, but I really like this lash primer because it doesn’t smudge and it gives my eyes a little something! Like the name says, it is a tinted lash primer, so it can be worn alone or as a primer! beauty, beauty blogger, fashion, anthropologie, home goods, home goodies, candles, cane + austin, glycolic acid, acne-free, ten tips for acne free skin, ten tips to clear acne, get rid of acne, cosrx, exfoliating, mandelic acid, aha, bha, ceramide cream, moisturizers, tips for skin, benefit cosmetics, sephora brush #66, tinted lash primer, too faced, primer, makeup, too faced primed and poreless
